Who are we?
We are the IntraMotionOCT project team — a multidisciplinary group of researchers and engineers based primarily at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology together with our Swiss partner Zaamigo AG in Zürich. Our mission is to push the boundaries of dental imaging through the design and development of the first intraoral OCT scanner capable of real-time surface and volumetric imaging, even under motion.
Team Members

Jakub Bogusławski, Ph. D.
Jakub Bogusławski received his Ph.D. in 2018 from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where he is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems and Principal Investigator of the Ultrafast Biophotonics Laboratory. His research focuses on ultrafast fiber lasers and their applications in biophotonics, particularly in advanced optical imaging. Following his doctoral studies, he held a postdoctoral position at the International Centre for Translational Eye Research in Warsaw, Poland, which involved frequent research visits to the School of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (USA).During this time, he collaborated with high-tech companies in the field of medical diagnostics, contributing to the translation of photonic technologies into biomedical applications.
His current work aims to advance ultrafast photonic technologies for biology and medicine, transforming cutting-edge optical methods into practical, accessible tools that accelerate discovery and improve human health.

Wojciech Kubicki, Ph. D.
Wojciech Kubicki, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at WUST, specializing in microsystems, microengineering, and mechatronics. His research focuses on the development and application of microfluidic devices made from glass, polymers, and 3D-printed materials, lab-on-a-chip instruments for Point-of-Care diagnostics (electrophoresis, PCR, and LAMP), as well as the integration of miniaturized hardware-software systems for biochemical analysis. He has participated in research projects, addressing topics such as portable analytical instruments, intraoral microfluidic dispensers, miniaturized sensors, cell culture microdevices, and MEMS technologies for space research.

Anna Puła
Anna Puła completed her Master’s degree in Optics (specialization: Optical and Photonic Engineering) at the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology, Wrocław University of Science and Technology in 2022.
Her professional experience includes designing imaging optical systems and working in R&D teams focused on optical fibers and femtosecond fiber lasers. Since 2025, she has been pursuing a PhD in Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, and Space Technologies.

Maciej Barna
Maciej Barna is a second-year PhD student at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on data processing in biomedical applications, especially on denoising techniques and statistical analysis methods. His other research interests include electronics design and numerical simulations.

Tymon Janisz
Tymon Janisz holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechatronics from Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. His research focuses on the use of advanced additive manufacturing methods, with particular emphasis on 3D and 4D printing for the development of microsystems and smart actuators. In the project, his work will focus on system integration and rapid prototyping of functional structures.
